Abstract

In this paper, the oxidation regeneration of free accumulated carbon black particles and cross flow deposited carbon black particles in DPF are compared. The gas emission, particle emission, oxidation regeneration efficiency and energy utilization are analyzed to explore the gas and particle emission laws and characteristics during DPF regeneration. The experimental results show that the temperature rise of free accumulated carbon black particles is fast, and the generated CO/CO2 gas reaches the peak soon, but the oxygen diffusion is limited, and the gas decreases slowly after reaching the peak. The heat transfer of DPF carrier is slow, and the peak time of gas generated by the oxidation of cross flow deposited carbon black particles is delayed, but the incoming flow is in full contact with the particles, resulting in large peak value of generated gas, rapid regeneration and high efficiency, increased particle number of discharged particles, and release of large particle size particles. With the increase of temperature, the oxidation regeneration efficiency of the two stacking methods increases, the real-time efficiency ratio first increases and then decreases, and there is the best heating time. The research results of this paper will lay a theoretical foundation and experimental reference for exploring the outlet particle emission characteristics and particle source analysis during DPF regeneration.
